The Common Council of the city, may appoint a seven-member parking committee composed of persons of the business and professional fields whose establishments are located within the defined limits of said parking zones. The aforementioned Committee shall perform as a liaison body between the business community and the Council in all matters pertinent to parking within defined zones. Terms of office for committee members shall be from January 1 to December 31.
