§ 32.04 BOARD OF FIRE AND POLICE COMMISSIONERS.
   There is established a Board of Fire and Police Commissioners, as approved by referendum of the electors of the city at the general election in November 7, 1989, and approved by the City Council on November 27, 1989. The members of the Board shall be appointed by the Mayor and shall have the power and duties as provided in ILCS Ch. 65, Act 5, §§ 10-2.1 et seq.
