§ 150.15 HOUSE NUMBERING.
   (A)   House numbering required. All lots, buildings, and structures in the city shall be numbered in accordance with the following plan:
      (1)   Washington Street shall be the base line for north and south numbers; State Street shall be the base line for east and west numbers.
      (2)   Even numbers shall be on the west side and north side of the street and odd numbers shall be on the east side and south side of the street.
   (B)   Chart. The Zoning Administrator shall keep a chart showing the proper street number of every lot in the city, which chart shall be open for inspection by anyone interested therein.
   (C)   Number on house. It shall be the duty of the owner and occupant of every residential house in the city to have placed thereon, in a place legible from the street, minimum 3-inch numeric, not script, figures located a minimum 5 feet from the ground, near the entrance door or garage door facing the street, showing the number of that house. Any person, firm, or corporation failing to so number any house owned or occupied by him, her or it, after receiving notice to do so from the Police Department, shall be fined $1 per day from the date of notification.
