(A) Code. The Life Safety Code applicable to the construction and maintenance of all buildings and structures within the city is the 2003 edition of the National Fire Prevention Association, Inc., (NFPA) 101, Life Safety Code, including all subsequent additions and revisions thereto.
(B) Violations. Any person found to be violating any provision of the Life Safety Code adopted by the city shall be served by the Building Inspector with a written notice stating the nature of the violation and providing a reasonable time limit for the satisfactory correction thereof. The offender shall, within the period of time stated in the notice, permanently cease all violations.
