(A) Any person not exempted under § 75.16 shall dispose of any inoperable motor vehicles under his or her control upon written notice received from the corporate authority or from the Chief of Police or any member of the Police Department designated by him or her commanding the disposition of the inoperable motor vehicle.
(B) The provisions for the impounding, towing, or removal of abandoned motor vehicles shall apply equally to inoperable motor vehicles.
