§ 70.32 YIELD INTERSECTIONS.
   (A)   The City Council may, by ordinance, designate any intersection under its jurisdiction as a yield intersection and authorize the erection of yield signs at 1 or more entrances to the intersection.
   (B)   The driver of a vehicle approaching the yield sign shall, in obedience to the sign, slow down to a speed reasonable for the existing conditions and, if required for safety to stop, shall stop at a clearly marked stop line but, if none, before entering the crosswalk on the near side of the intersection or, if none, then at the point nearest the intersecting roadway where the driver has a view of approaching traffic on the intersecting roadway before entering the intersection. After slowing or stopping, the driver shall yield the right-of-way to any vehicle in the intersection or approaching on another roadway so closely as to then constitute an immediate hazard during the time the driver was moving across or within the intersection.
   (C)   If a driver is involved in a collision at an intersection or interferes with the movement of other vehicles after driving past a yield right-of-way sign, the collision or interference shall be deemed prima facie evidence of the driver’s failure to yield a right-of-way.
   (D)   Yield intersections are set forth in Chapter 76, Schedule II.
