§ 52.44 DISCLAIMER OF LIABILITY.
   (A)   The drainage design standards required by these regulations are considered reasonable for regulatory purposes and are based upon engineering and scientific methods of study. Larger rainfalls may occur on rare occasions, and greater runoff rates or decreased hydraulic capacities of the structure may occur due to uncontrollable circumstances.
   (B)   These regulations do not imply that an area within or outside of the sites to which the standards of these regulations have been applied will be totally free from potential flooding or runoff damages. These regulations shall not create liability on the part of the city or any officer or employees or agent thereof for any damages that result from reliance on these regulations or any administrative decision lawfully made thereunder.
