The intent of these regulations is to require temporary storage of stormwater runoff, to control the rate of release of stormwater runoff, to provide for adequate drainage of development sites and surrounding areas, and to protect existing agricultural drainage systems. Further, it is intended that these regulations are in conformance with and complement the city subdivision regulations (Chapter 152 of this code of ordinances) and the City of Monticello Zoning Regulations (Chapter 153).
