§ 94.10 STREET INSPECTORS; APPOINTMENT, DUTIES, AND COMPENSATION.
   (A)   The Director of Service shall name a sufficient number of persons who are, in the Director's judgment, qualified to supervise the construction of streets in the municipality.
   (B)   Whenever any person, firm, or corporation has obtained a permit for street construction or for the opening of a street, alley, sidewalk, or public way, the Director of Service shall appoint a street inspector from his list of qualified persons to inspect the installation during the course of construction for compliance with applicable building laws and construction norms. The inspector shall report to the Director of Service; he shall be compensated by the municipality at the rate established for such service by the city council.
