§ 72.69 EXCESSIVE ACCELERATION.
   It shall be unlawful to "race" or accelerate the motor of any motor vehicle while the vehicle is not in gear or in motion so as to cause unreasonably loud noise. It shall be unlawful to "race" or accelerate excessively the motor of any motor vehicle while said vehicle is moving so as to cause unreasonably loud noise. Such noise is unreasonably loud if such noise can be heard by a person of reasonable sensibilities 100 feet or more from the location of the motor vehicle emitting such noise.
