§ 10.16 SECTION HISTORIES; STATUTORY REFERENCES.
   (A)   As legislative histories for code sections, the following may be listed, if applicable: the Ohio Revised Code section upon which the provision is based; the prior code section upon which the provision is based; and the specific number and passage date of the original ordinance plus the three most recent amending ordinances, if any.
Example:
   (R.C. § 123.45) (`67 Code, § 1.23) (Ord. 1-1970, passed 1-1-70; Am. Ord. 1-1980, passed 1-1-80; Am. Ord. 1-1990, passed 1-1-90; Am. Ord. 15-1990, passed 6-1-90)
   (B)   A statutory cite set forth as a "statutory reference" following the text of the section indicates that the reader should refer to that statute for further information.
Example:
   § 30.08 PUBLIC RECORDS AVAILABLE.
      Unless otherwise exempted by state law, all public records shall be promptly prepared and made available for inspection to any person.
