3-9-7: CONDITIONS OF LICENSE:
The following shall be included as conditions in every tree removal and tree trimming license issued by the City:
   A.   Diseased Trees: Any diseased trees, or diseased parts of trees, whether from Dutch elm disease, oak wilt or other disease, shall be disposed of in such manner and in such place as may be prescribed by the City.
   B.   Stumps Debarked: Any stumps from diseased trees which are not removed, shall be debarked.
   C.   Barricades; Danger Signals; Flagperson: Where work by a licensee is carried on in or adjacent to any street, alley or other public place, the licensee shall, at his or her own expense, furnish and erect such barricades, fences, lights and danger signals as may be appropriate and shall provide flagpersons where necessary and shall take such other precautions for the protection of persons or property as may be appropriate.
   D.   Entry To Private Property; Permission Required: No licensee shall enter upon any private property for the purpose of doing work thereon without first obtaining written permission from the proper person in advance of such entry.
   E.   Damage Or Injury To Property Responsibility Of Licensee: The licensee shall be responsible for all damage or injury to property of any character resulting from any act or omission by the licensee, whether the same be the result of negligence or not, and he or she shall restore or have restored at his or her own expense, any damaged or injured property to a condition similar or equal to that existing before such damage or injury was done.
   F.   Public Utility To Be Notified: The licensee shall notify the proper representative of the City or any public utility not less than forty eight (48) hours before doing any work which may damage streets, utility lines, or property of any kind belonging to the City or such utility.
   G.   Compliance: Every licensee shall comply with all laws, ordinances and regulations of the City pertaining to the removal or trimming of trees and with all conditions set forth in the license. (Ord. 571, 7-20-1981)
