For the purposes of this Chapter, the definitions included in Minnesota Statutes, Section 342.01, and as the same may abe amended from time to time, shall apply.
ADULT-USE CANNABIS PRODUCTS: A cannabis product that is approved for sale by the office or is substantially similar to a product approved by the office. Adult-use cannabis product includes edible cannabis products but does not include medical cannabinoid products.
PUBLIC PLACE: For the purposes of this Chapter, the term "Public Place" shall mean any and all public places within the City of Montevideo, including but not limited to any public street, avenue, boulevard, right of way, road, alley, sidewalk, park, trail, parking lot, building, airport and cemetery. Provided, however, that the following shall not be considered a Public Place:
A. A private residence, including the person's curtilage or yard;
B. Private property not generally accessible by the public, unless the person is explicitly prohibited from smoking cannabis flower or cannabis products on the property by the owner of the property; or
C. The premises of an establishment or event licensed to permit on-site consumption.
SMOKE/SMOKING: For the purpose of this Chapter the term "Smoking" is inhaling, exhaling, burning or carrying any lighted or heated cigar, cigarette, pipe or any other lighted or heated product containing, made or derived from cannabis or hemp, whether natural or synthetic, that is intended for inhalation. Smoking will also include using an electronic delivery device.
