8-4-26: FIRE CHIEF TO CONTROL DURING FIRE:
In time of fire, the Utilities Superintendent shall surrender control, for the time being, of all mains, gates and fire hydrants to the Chief of the Fire Department for the purpose of extinguishing such fire; and it shall be the duty of such Chief, after the extinguishment of the fire to restore all hydrants and gates.
