A. Inspection Required: All drain pipes for public sewers, or for private drains, shall be subject to the inspection of the Utilities Superintendent or his or her assistant.
B. Certain Size Required; Exception: No sanitary drain for any building shall be connected with a public sewer, unless it be by drain pipe of at least four inches (4") in diameter, unless specially authorized by the Utilities Superintendent. (Ch. 79, 1-1-1922)
