7-7-10: PERMANENT CARE AND IMPROVEMENT FUND:
The City Council shall designate a percentage of the sales price of any cemetery lot to be set apart as a Permanent Care and Improvement Fund for the care, maintenance and improvement of the cemetery. The City Council shall constitute the Board of Directors of the fund and the City Treasurer shall invest the funds in separate accounts from other City funds as provided by law. The income from the fund shall be transferred to the City annually on July 1 for use by the City for care, maintenance and improvement of the cemetery. The members of the Board of Directors shall not be entitled to compensation for acting as members of the Board of Directors. (Ord. 731, 11-15-1993; amd. Ord. 946, 3-5-2018)
