A. Fee: Licenses shall be valid for the lifetime of the dog or cat for which it was issued and shall be issued only upon payment of a fee to the police department, which fee shall be set by resolution of the city council.
B. Rabies Immunization Required: Every application for a dog license shall be accompanied by a certificate from a qualified veterinarian showing that the dog to be licensed has been given a vaccination against rabies within the time hereinafter specified. The owner shall keep the rabies vaccination current for any dog licensed hereunder and shall furnish proof thereof upon request to the city. (Ord. 897, 4-5-2010)
