§ 153.091 INDIVIDUAL WELLS AND CENTRAL WATER SYSTEMS.
   (A)   If a public water system is not feasible, as determined by the Commission, individual wells may be used, provided they are installed in accordance with all applicable state and county health department requirements (if available).
   (B)   If a public water system is not feasible, an appropriate water source, as determined by the Commission, and central water distribution system, may be used provided that they meet all applicable federal, state and town requirements.
   (C)   A central water distribution system must be designed and constructed in a manner that provides an adequate supply of potable water to every lot in the subdivision. A central water system shall be approved by IDEM. This approval shall be submitted prior to secondary approval.
   (D)   If the Commission requires that a connection to a public water main be eventually provided as a condition for approval of an individual well or central water system, the developer shall make arrangements for future water service at the time the plat receives secondary approval. A performance guarantee may be required to insure compliance.
