(A) Every subdivision plat approved by the Plan Commission staff after the effective date of these regulations shall be recorded within 3 years after the date of plat approval.
(B) Any plat that is not so recorded within a 3-year period shall, at the expiration of a 3-year period, become invalid and shall not be entitled to recording without reapproval by the Commission, in accordance with the same standards, requirements and procedures specified by these regulations at the time of reapproval.
(C) The Commission may grant 1 extension of the original approval for up to 3 years. The request shall be made by the developer or his or her agent before the original approval expires.
