(A) It shall be unlawful to put up or maintain, or suffer to be put up or maintained, any sign, banner, streamer, or other device for advertising or other purpose, by suspending it across any street or alley within the town, without permission.
(B) It shall be unlawful for any person to put or maintain any sign which shall project over any sidewalk in the town, or the lowest part of which shall be less than ten feet above the ground.
