(a) No person, firm or corporation shall dig into, excavate or open any part of any public street, alley, right-of-way or easement within the Village for the purpose of putting in any drain, sewer, drain or sewer pipe, water or gas pipe, or other conduit or main for making any gas, water, sewer, electric light, telephone, telegraph or other connection, or for any other purpose whatsoever, without first obtaining from the Village Administrator a written permit to do so, which permit shall be granted only upon the terms and conditions provided in this chapter.
(b) The fee for the permit will be twenty-five dollars ($25.00) to cover Administrative and Inspection costs.
