(a) The Village Marshall/Chief of Police is specifically authorized to reside outside the Village limits. The Village Marshall has been hired with Council having full knowledge that he resided and will continue to reside outside the Village limits.
(b) Within six months of being employed, full-time employees shall reside within a radius of ten miles of the Village limits and part-time employees within a radius of twenty-five miles of the Village limits.
