(a) No person shall keep or maintain, within the Municipality, horses, ponies or other animals used for riding, racing or for purposes of sport. This section shall not apply to persons keeping any such animals in connection with the usual operations of their farms and farm buildings. Furthermore, such animals may be kept within the Municipality temporarily in connection with traveling shows, carnivals and exhibitions. This section shall not apply to dogs.
(b) Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
