335.15 IMMEDIATE NOTICE OF ACCIDENT TO POLICE DEPARTMENT.
   (a)   The driver of a vehicle involved in an accident resulting in injury or the death of any person or total damage to all property to an apparent extent of one hundred fifty dollars ($150.00) or more shall immediately, by the quickest means of communication, give notice of such accident to the Police Department.

   (b)   Whoever violates any provision of this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor on a first offense; on a second offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the fourth degree; on each subsequent offense within one year after the first offense, the person is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
