As used in this procedure:
(a) "Department supervisor" means either an employee of the Village, such as the Police Chief, Utility Supervisor, or Street Supervisor, or a Chairperson of a board or commission.
(b) "The appropriate department director" and "the appropriate committee of Council" means as follows:

These designations shall be subject to modification upon additions or deletions of departments, boards or committees of Council.
