(A) Upon a determination that a nuisance as herein defined exists, the City of Monroe may proceed with an action to abate or enjoin any person, property, or thing adjudged to be a nuisance as set forth in North Carolina General Statute § 19-2.1.
(B) In addition, at the petition of the Chief of Police, the City Council may, after holding a public hearing, declare that a nuisance exists and order its abatement or removal.
