It shall be the duty of the Animal Control Officer of the city to apprehend any dog found running at large contrary to the provisions of this subchapter and/ or state statutes to impound such dog in the Union County Animal Shelter. The owner shall be notified in accordance with county regulations, and disposition shall be in accordance with county regulations.
