(A) There is hereby established the “Vehicle Inspection Fund”, which Fund is established for the purpose of collecting all fees charged by the Town Marshal or his or her Deputy for inspection of manufacturers numbers, title numbers and license numbers and the certification thereof to any agency requiring the certification.
(B) The fee for inspection of the vehicle manufacturer’s number, title number or license number shall be the sum of $5 per vehicle inspected and certified, which fee shall be collected at a time as certification is made and deposited in the Vehicle Inspection Fund.
(C) The Town Council may appropriate funds from the Fund for use as permitted by law when it adopts its annual budget or by use of the special appropriation procedure.
