§ 151.09 UNSAFE BUILDINGS.
   (A)   There is hereby adopted I.C. 36-7-9 et seq. (unsafe building law), and any modification made thereto in the future enacted by the Indiana State Legislature and enforceable by law, to govern the maintenance of property to protect the health, safety, welfare, and morals of the community and to establish procedures for enforcing these codes
   (B)   The duly appointed Town Superintendent shall act s the executive department responsible for the administration of this section.
   (C)   Pursuant to this section, the term SUBSTANTIAL PROPERTY INTEREST means any right in real property that may be affected in a substantial way by actions authorized by this section, including a fee interest, a life estate interest, a future interest, a present possessory interest, or an equitable interest of a contract purchaser.
   (D)   Should this section conflict with Ord. 9-1 in any means or fashion, then the ordinance codifying this section, Ord 2005-02 (9-5) shall take priority over rd. 9-1 and be controlling.
   (E)   The fines/fees for the Unsafe Building Ordinance as promulgated in this section will be as follow $1,200 fee for normal cleanup, $60 per window repair, $80 per lock change.
