6-1-1: HEALTH OFFICER:

The mayor, with the consent of the council, shall annually appoint a competent person to be the health officer, who shall hold his office during the municipal year in which he is appointed, and shall receive such compensation as the city council shall prescribe. (Ord. 220, 6-5-1978)
