4-2-2: NUMBERING PLAN:
House numbering required on lots, buildings or structures in the city shall be numbered in accordance with the following plan:
   (A)   The dividing line for east and west numbers shall be the Dixie Highway, also known as Range Street. The first block running east or west shall be the 100 block, the second block the 200 block, etc.
   (B)   The dividing line for north and south numbers shall be Washington Street. The first block running north or south shall be the 100 block, the second block the 200 block, etc.
   (C)   Odd numbers shall be on the west and south sides of the streets; even numbers shall be on the east and north sides of the streets.
   (D)   There shall be not more than one hundred (100) numbers to each block; one number to every thirty feet (30') of frontage.
   (E)   Streets running diagonally or not generally north and south or east and west shall be assigned numbers conforming as nearly as possible with the blocks intersected.
   (F)   Lots, buildings and structures on streets not otherwise provided for shall be assigned arbitrary numbers which shall be as consistent as possible with the general plan.
   (G)   Two-family houses having multiple entrances on a street shall be assigned separate numbers for each entrance.
   (H)   Two-family and multiple-family houses not having separate entrances for each apartment shall be treated as apartment houses, and such building shall be assigned one number, and individual families or apartments designated as "Apartment 1", "Apartment 2", etc.
   (I)   Business and office buildings shall be assigned a number corresponding to the main entrance of said building, with the separate and individual places of business designated as "Room No. 1", "Room No. 2", etc. (Ord., 4-1-1963)
