(A) All contractors, as that term is defined by ordinance in the County of Kankakee, shall, prior to the commencement of any work in the City of Momence, Illinois, submit to the City Collector, at the City Hall, of the City of Momence, its license, duly issued, and in effect from the County of Kankakee. The submission of such license, once a copy has been made, shall authorize the contractor to perform work within the City of Momence, Illinois.
(B) Any contractor who violates any provision of this chapter shall be subject to the general penalty as provided in subsection 1-4-1(A) of this Code. (Ord. 763, 7-15-2013)
