PEDDLER: Any person, firm, or corporation who, for itself, or by its agents, employees, or servants, by going from place to place within the city, sells at retail, offers for sale, sells and delivers, barters or exchanges any goods, wares, merchandise, or any other article or thing whatsoever, or any service not ordered by telephone, computer link, or other remote communication.
