11-2-13: ADMINISTRATION:
   A. Inspections:
      1. Inspections During Construction: General site grading shall not begin until the applicant's design engineer has certified in writing to the village engineer that any necessary detention facilities are in place and operational. The village engineer or his designated representative may also conduct periodic inspections of the work in progress to verify the drainage system is being constructed as designed. If any violations of the provisions or requirements of this chapter are noted during such inspections, the village engineer shall notify the property owner in writing of the items needing correction. The property owner shall have ten (10) calendar days to make such corrections unless given a specific extension of time in writing by the village engineer. Failure to complete such corrections within the specified time period shall constitute a violation of this chapter.
      2. Final Inspection: Upon notification by the applicant that the drainage system is completed, the village engineer or his representative shall conduct a final inspection. If the drainage system is found to contain deficiencies which require correction the village engineer or his designated representative shall notify the property owner of the necessary corrections. The property owner shall correct such deficiencies within ten (10) calendar days unless given a specific extension of time in writing by the village engineer. Failure to make necessary corrections within the specified time period shall constitute a violation of this chapter.
   B. Enforcement: The administration and enforcement of this chapter shall be the responsibility of the village engineer or his designated representatives. (Ord. 1630, 4-12-1999)
