§ 95.11 DUTY TO KEEP SIDEWALKS IN REPAIR AND CLEAN OF ICE AND SNOW.
   (A)   No owner or occupant of lots or lands abutting any sidewalk, curb or gutter shall fail to keep the sidewalks, curbs and gutters in repair and free from snow, ice or any nuisance, and to remove from such sidewalks, curbs or gutters all snow and ice accumulated thereon within a reasonable time, which will ordinarily not exceed 12 hours after any storm during which the snow and ice has accumulated.
   (B)   Discharging or depositing of snow by truck, blower or other snow removal equipment onto any street, sidewalk or highway is prohibited except for accumulations which are necessary residuals of street or roadway cleaning operations by the village or public authority.
   (C)   No person, being the operator or the owner or in charge of any vehicle or equipment removing snow from private property, shall deposit the snow upon any property except that from which the snow is removed.
   (D)   Persons and/or property owners storing snow or ice in unauthorized areas as described in division (A), (B), and (C) of this section shall be responsible for reimbursement to the village for any costs incurred by the village for removing or relocating such unauthorized storage. Failure to pay the total cost within 30 days after notice shall entitle the Director of Finance to certify same to the Summit or Portage County Auditor to be placed upon the tax duplicate and collected as other taxes are collected according to law.
   (E)   Whoever violates this section is guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
