After removal of a junk motor vehicle pursuant to this chapter, the motor vehicle shall be stored for a period of 30 days at the impound lot designated by the Safety Department of the village. The owner of the motor vehicle may reclaim the junk motor vehicle within 30 days after removal upon payment of expenses incurred by the village in removal and storage of the vehicle, and upon proof of ownership of the motor vehicle, and upon delivery of an affidavit indicating that the motor vehicle will not be stored on private property in violation of § 92.09.
