The number of domestic dogs and cats per residence is six. Three dogs plus three cats maximum over the age 10 weeks will be allowed. Residents having more of either animal before December 31, 2013, must register all their animals at City Hall along with each animal’s Polk or Jasper County license number and a photo of each animal for the purpose of identification. All violations will constitute a daily fine of $25.00 for each animal over the limit.
