The Mayor shall have the power, during a snow removal emergency and during periods of extreme snow accumulations, to close any street or portion of street which is under the jurisdiction of the City to all traffic and parking, if necessary, for the efficient removal of snow by the Street Department. Notice of any such emergency regulations shall be given by broadcasting the same over the local radio stations and, if possible, by publication in the official newspaper. (Ord. 1518, 12-16-1985)
