§ 152.02 COMMERCIAL TREE TRIMMERS AND REMOVERS.
   All persons engaged commercially in the business of tree trimming, cutting down trees or removing the trees within the city limits shall, before engaging in such activity, obtain a permit from the City Clerk-Treasurer or other person authorized to issue such permit. Before issuing the permit, the applicant will have to provide proof to the City Clerk-Treasurer that the applicant has liability insurance in a minimum amount of $10,000 to cover for damages to public or private property arising out of the business of tree trimming and removing trees within the city limits. An occupation tax of $25 shall be levied before the permit is issued by the City Clerk-Treasurer. The permit shall be good for one calendar year from the date of issuance. This charge shall be in addition to any charge to the commercial tree trimmer for the use of the city dump. All fees levied pursuant to this section and terms and conditions of issuance of the permit shall and may be established by the governing body by resolution.
