§ 70.02 TRAFFIC-CONTROL SIGNALS, DEVICES, SIGNS.
   (A)   It shall be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle, upon approaching any stop sign from the direction from which such a stop sign is read and before passing beyond such a stop sign, unless otherwise directed by a traffic officer, to fail to come to a complete stop, with the front wheels parallel or even with such a stop sign.
   (B)   It shall further be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle approaching any intersection for which there is traffic-control signal to cause or permit such vehicle to enter such intersection while the traffic-control signal light facing the traffic so approaching such intersection is not green. If the light facing approaching traffic is red or yellow, such traffic shall stop and shall not enter such intersection until such light has changed to green; provided, that when a traffic-control signal light is flashing yellow only and repeatedly, traffic shall approach and enter such intersection with extreme caution, and the general rules as to the right-of-way in such intersection shall be applicable. It shall further be unlawful for the operator of any vehicle approaching any railroad crossing for which there is a traffic-control signal to enter such railroad crossing while the traffic-control device is directing the operator of the vehicle to stop. Provided further, every operator of a vehicle, notwithstanding any of the provisions of this section, shall comply fully with the directions of officers or orders given by a traffic officer.
