(A) Any person who is an itinerant merchant, peddler, or solicitor shall obtain a license before engaging in such activity within the municipality and shall pay a fee for each salesperson for each week that such business is carried on.
(B) The fee for the license required by this chapter shall be as set from time to time by the Legislative Authority.
(C) No license issued under this chapter shall be transferable.
(D) All licenses issued under this chapter shall be good for six days and shall terminate automatically with the last day for which the fee shall have been paid.
(E) The license fee is waived for all non-profit charitable organizations. Such organization must show proof of its non-profit status before the fee will be waived.
