(A) It shall be the responsibility of every owner of a lot within the village to maintain the trees located within the curb lawn (that area between the sidewalk and the curb) in a safe condition, and shall trim from the trees any portions thereof that are unsafe to persons and vehicles using the public ways.
(B) Any person who violates this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
