(A) It shall be the responsibility of every owner of a lot upon which sidewalks have previously been constructed either on or adjoining his or her property to maintain the sidewalks in a good and safe condition.
(B) Defects in sidewalks shall be repaired in accordance with the Design Standards Manual.
(C) If the repair work involves more than 30 square feet then the property owner or contractor shall obtain a permit from the village.
(D) Any person who violates the provisions of this section shall be guilty of a minor misdemeanor.
