§ 94.01 STREET OR SIDEWALK OBSTRUCTION.
   (A)   No person shall obstruct any street, alley, sidewalk, public ground, or other public way within the municipality by erecting thereon any fence, structure or building, or permitting any fence, structure or building to remain thereon unless authorized by the Legislative Authority or other proper municipal official. Each day that any such fence or building is permitted to remain upon such public way shall be deemed a separate offense.

   (B)   No owner or occupier of real property in the village shall permit any shrub or tree to extend onto or over any public sidewalk in a manner that it will impede or strike any pedestrian. No owner or occupier of real property in the village shall fail to trim or remove any shrub or tree that extends onto or over any public sidewalk within a period of ten days after receipt of written or oral notice from the Chief of Police advising of the violation of this section and requesting the trimming or removal.
   (C)   Whoever violates division (A) of this section is guilty of a misdemeanor of the third degree.
