§ 52.040 INDUSTRIAL USE OF SEWERS.
   Where the character of the sewage from any manufacturing or industrial plant, building or property is such that it imposes a burden upon the sanitary sewer system in addition to the burden imposed by the standard strength sewage entering the sanitary sewer system, such additional charge shall be made therefor as the Village Council shall deem to be necessary to meet the additional cost of collection, treatment, and disposal of such sewage; and the Village Council may, if it deems advisable to do so, compel the owner, tenant or occupant of such manufacturing or industrial plant, building or property to pretreat such sewage in such manner as shall be specified by the Village Council before discharging it to the village sanitary sewer system.
