In case of an order for removal of a building or structure which is not complied with within the specified time frame as described in § 96.16, the Police Chief and/or Village Administrator may cause such building or structure to be removed at the expense of the owner or owners. Prior to the village taking such action, the village shall give at least ten days’ written notice by certified mail to the owner or owners of such property.
