A. Unless otherwise permitted by a village official (Building Officer, Village Administrator or Public Works Director), no construction or alteration operations shall be conducted before the hour of seven o’clock (7:00) A.M. or after the hour of eight o’clock (8:00) P.M. Monday through Friday, or before the hour of eight o’clock (8:00) A.M. or after the hour of eight o’clock (8:00) P.M. on Saturdays, Sundays or legal holidays. Legal holidays shall consist of New Year's Day; Martin Luther King Day; Lincoln's Birthday; Washington's Birthday (President's Day); Memorial Day; Independence Day; Labor Day; Columbus Day; Veterans' Day; Thanksgiving; and Christmas.
B. These restrictions may be waived by the superintendent of public works when emergency work is required to restore vital utility services. (Ord. 2019-18, 7-23-2019)
