8-6-4: RESPONSE TO ALARMS:
   A.   Whenever an alarm system is activated, thereby calling an emergency response to the location by a member of the Police Department or Fire Department, the police officer responding to the alarm shall inspect the area protected by the system and determine whether or not the alarm was a false alarm.
   B.   If the police officer in charge of the scene of the activated alarm system determines the alarm to be false, the officer shall make a report of the false alarm, a notification of which shall be mailed or delivered to the alarm user advising of the false alarm. (Ord. 1993-10, 8-10-1993)
