8-4-4: KENNELS:
   A.   Annual Inspection: Kennels shall be subject to, at a minimum, an annual inspection by the police chief or his designee in cooperation with the animal control department to ensure compliance with this chapter and other local and state regulations.
   B.   Regulations: Kennels shall be sanitary, with proper ventilation, adequate nutrition, housing, humane care and treatment, including required rabies vaccinations and registrations, for all animals.
   C.   Removal: The court upon finding evidence of a violation of this chapter may order removal by the police chief or his designee or animal control department or the appropriate state authority of all animals until the violation is corrected. The owner of the animals shall be ordered to pay the cost of housing the animals until the violation is corrected. (Ord. 2006-36, 10-10-2006)
