A. No garbage of any description shall be deposited upon any street, alley, vacant lot, public grounds or private premises within the village limits, except by direction or written permission of the board of health of the village. It shall be the duty of the occupant of every home, hotel, tavern, eating house and other premises to, at all times, have the garbage upon his premises collected and deposited in suitable containers. Such containers shall be located so as to be convenient of access to the garbage collector.
B. All persons are hereby prohibited from placing any substance other than garbage within the containers herein provided for, and shall be further required to keep ashes separate from cans and other refuse.
C. Any person violating the provisions of this section shall be punishable as provided in section 1-4-1 of this code. (Ord. 2014-32, 12-16-2014)
